A never-ending game where you can interact with a guy named Tantei, the one will follow you until the end of your journey of life.
As he learns about you, maybe you can learn something about him too!
The closer you two become, the more he'll open up.

Features:
Affection level:
- This affect a lot of things. The more affection you have, the more topics there will be.
- Also affect how Tantei would treat you.
- And actions you can perform with him <3
Dress up mode:
- You can ask Tantei to wear anything or change hair styles as long as you've unlocked them via conversations or affection level!
Cooking:
- There are only 2 cooking topics you can do for now because I'm too lazy to write. But there will be more!
Random Greetings:
- For now there are only 2 surprise random events, but more will be added in the future!
Real life event:
- For now you can only celebrate: your birthday, Tantei's birthday, Christmas and Valentine's Day
MC:
- Silly that's you of course!
- Custom name and birthday.
- I don't know how to code in pronouns yet, but it's mostly never mentioned in the game either.
Endings?:
Just don't mess up, love.

This is a game inspired from the Mod Monika After Story and works pretty much the same. If you had had experience playing it, this game might interest you!
(This is not a mod, it's a standalone game. Don't worry about having to download anything else)

Notice:
There is not a lot of feature or topics for now! But I'm planning to update this game whenever I have a chance to.
The minisprites and cutscenes's hair styles and outfits does not match with the design you chose (for now!) I just don't wanna go on the drawing board that much. If this game gets recognition then I will update those.

Hi, where are the files located that need to be deleted for a complete reset? I’ve accidentally set my birthday to empty (by simply pressing enter when I was supposed to enter the date) and now the game keeps crashing because of the missing value.
I’ve tried un- and reinstalling as well as manually deleting the entire game folder, but every time I re-install it, I still get the same error. orz
Are you using windows or android?
Steam Deck/Linux. I think it’s closer to Windows since I’m using desktop mode and its interface looks very similar to the ones you see on PCs.
I think there's a file in the game file that's called "save" delete everything (esp "persistent") in it and it should restart your game ^^
I tried it, but sadly to no avail. :( I even deleted the entire folder, but still no luck.
there's another way if you go to %appdata% renpy and find the game title but i'll have to check it out to make sure when i get back home ^^
okay so
for windows, use window key and type "R" to open Run, put %appdata% , find RenPy file, find the game "Tantei [string of numbers]" and delete everything inside of it
i don't know what about Linux but the path for me is User/AppData/Roaming/RenPy/[GAME NAME]
Was wondering if the random events repeat themselves? Got the Real Tantei? one (that's one of the random greetings, right?) and was wondering if it would pop up again, since I'd like seeing how both options play out (I'm a bit of a completionist).

I just reached affection lv 100 with him today, yay!! I love how relaxing and relatively low-effort this game is since I don't have a ton of spare time every day, I enjoy checking in on him once a day to check for new dialogue or help water his plant, etc. Cooking with him is always fun too, I was pleasantly surprised when he asked me to interact for the first time lol. Earlier today I was super confused because I thought I closed the game before taking a "break," but then when I came back the game was still open and my affection level dipped below 100 again...hmmm...maybe I just forgot to close it and did something by accident to make the affection go down?! No idea what happened but I'm just trying not to get any of the endings and ruin things with him, although I AM tempted to mess with him sometimes like keep watering the plant to see what happens lol. But genuinely enjoying these small daily interactions with a virtual cutie pie. Thank you for making this! <3
Just wanted to document for myself that I reached 1000 affection points today - yay! I plan to keep playing since it's a game that never ends - hoping for more updates someday, but you must be super busy working on new awesome games and content too so I understand either way - still very thankful :)

Only started this one andd seemed really interesting, I mean mostly because it was about Tantei, but this type of simulation game like those Tamagotchi oldies were always fun.
but it seemed like I encountered a problem early on; I can't type in month name when he asked to for the birthday,
can only enter empty and did successfully insert the date but then got this error.
also, umm is this one meant to not have save-load function? scared me bad when i didn't find it..
please don't save in this game, this is an auto-save game!!
and the month is supposed to be in numberics, sorry for not making that clear ^^

HAVSJAV i already know about the cooking recipies one, i was just a little lazy to add content for it so i left it there, but i'll try to fix it as soon as possible, including the missing arm...
since this is a really-kinda-old game, my code is pretty messy so i have to dig through a lot to find it again!
ah alright it's okay, take your time! I can see potential here, it's already going well so far aside from.. running out of topics for the moment to increase his affection level, though I'll let it stew and kept on my phone for now, until i reach one of the ends.

Cool? Will the player be referred to with they/them? She/her? He/him? Or something else?
gender isn't mentioned in the game! since this game is a player pov, tantei only talks to you and there are no other characters to even refer to you to even use your pronouns ^^
